Day 1 ARRIVAL IN KATHMANDU

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be warmly welcomed by the Namaste Nomad team.
Our representative will meet you at the airport and assist with your transfer to the hotel.
After checking in and taking some time to relax, we will gather in the evening for a traditional Nepali welcome dinner.
Enjoy authentic Nepali cuisine, including traditional dishes such as dal bhat, vegetable curries and local specialities, accompanied by traditional cultural dances and music.
This evening offers your first introduction to Nepalese hospitality, culture and traditions.

Day 2- KATHMANDU TO POKHARA
Scenic Flight & Lakeside Exploration
Location: Pokhara
Accommodation: Beautiful lakeside hotel

After breakfast, we transfer to Kathmandu Airport for a scenic flight to Pokhara.
The approximately 25–30-minute flight provides spectacular views of the Himalayan landscape, weather permitting.
Upon arrival in Pokhara, our local team will transfer you to your lakeside hotel.
Pokhara is renowned for its peaceful atmosphere, beautiful Phewa Lake and panoramic mountain scenery.
After checking in and enjoying some time to relax, we will explore the lakeside area.
Afternoon activities
- Walk along the vibrant Lakeside area.
- Enjoy views of Phewa Lake.
- Experience a traditional wooden canoe ride.
- Visit the World Peace Pagoda (Japanese Stupa), subject to available time and local conditions.
The Peace Pagoda offers panoramic views across Phewa Lake and towards the surrounding Himalayan landscape.

Day 3 – POKHARA TO LWANG GHALE VILLAGE
Authentic Himalayan Village Experience
Location: Lwang Ghale Village
Accommodation: Traditional homestay or local guesthouse
Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner
After breakfast, we leave Pokhara and travel towards Lwang Ghale Village, a traditional settlement in the Annapurna region.
The journey takes us through Nepal’s beautiful middle hills, with views of terraced farmland, forests and rural communities.
Upon arrival, we settle into our accommodation and begin exploring the village.

Day 4- LWANG GHALE TO FOREST CAMP
Begin the Mardi Himal Trek
Location: Forest Camp
Approximate altitude: 2,500–2,600 m
Walking: Approximately 5–7 hours, depending on the chosen route
Accommodation: Teahouse or trekking lodge
Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner
Today, our Himalayan trekking adventure begins.
After breakfast, we follow the mountain trails towards Forest Camp, passing through beautiful rhododendron and oak forests.
The route gradually gains elevation, providing an opportunity to experience the peaceful forest environment of the Annapurna region.
Our experienced trekking team will maintain a comfortable pace, allowing everyone to enjoy the surroundings.

After reaching Forest Camp, we check into our teahouse and enjoy a warm meal.

Day 5 -OREST CAMP TO HIGH CAMP
Into the Himalayan Alpine Landscape
Location: Mardi Himal High Camp
Approximate altitude: 3,580–3,600 m
Walking: Approximately 5–7 hours
Accommodation: Mountain teahouse
Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner
After breakfast, we continue our ascent towards Mardi Himal High Camp.
As we gain altitude, the dense forest gradually gives way to more open mountain terrain.
The landscape becomes increasingly dramatic, with views of the surrounding peaks appearing along the route, weather permitting.
We continue at a steady pace, taking regular breaks and allowing time for acclimatisation.
Upon arrival at High Camp, we check into our accommodation.
The evening is spent relaxing, enjoying the mountain scenery and preparing for the following day’s early morning excursion.
Overnight: Mardi Himal High Camp.
Important
High Camp is located at approximately 3,580–3,600 metres. Participants should be prepared for colder temperatures and the effects of altitude.
Day 6 – MARDI HIMAL VIEWPOINT / BASE CAMP & DESCENT
Himalayan Sunrise & Spectacular Mountain Views
Location: Mardi Himal viewpoint and lower-altitude accommodation
Walking: Approximately 6–9 hours, depending on the turnaround point
Accommodation: Mountain teahouse
Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner
Today is one of the highlights of our Himalayan adventure.
We begin early in the morning, weather permitting, to walk towards the upper Mardi Himal viewpoint and, for suitably prepared participants, Mardi Himal Base Camp.
The trail offers spectacular views of:
- Machhapuchhre (Fishtail).
- Annapurna South.
- Hiunchuli.
- Mardi Himal.
- Other surrounding Himalayan peaks.
The standard upper viewpoint is approximately 4,200 metres, while Mardi Himal Base Camp is commonly listed at approximately 4,500 metres.
The trekking leader will determine the appropriate turnaround point according to weather, trail conditions, altitude and group fitness.
After enjoying the mountain scenery, we descend towards a lower-altitude overnight location.
The descent is important for recovery and acclimatisation, and the group will maintain a safe, manageable pace.
Overnight: Lower-altitude trekking lodge.
Day 7 – DESCEND TO SIDING & RETURN TO POKHARA
Traditional Village Trails & Lakeside Relaxation
Location: Pokhara
Accommodation: Lakeside hotel
Meals: Breakfast and lunch
After breakfast, we continue our descent through the lower mountain trails towards Siding Village.
The landscape gradually changes from alpine terrain to forests, farmland and traditional rural settlements.
Siding is a village associated with the Mardi Himal trekking route and provides a glimpse of local mountain life.
After reaching the village, we transfer by local jeep towards Pokhara.
The journey offers further views of Nepal’s rural landscapes and mountain communities.
Upon arrival in Pokhara, we check into our lakeside hotel.
The evening is free to relax, enjoy the lakeside atmosphere or explore the local area.
Overnight: Pokhara.
Route note: The precise descent and overnight location will depend on the selected trekking route. The itinerary should not promise a direct Base Camp-to-Siding descent without confirming the trail and group’s ability.
Day 8 – POKHARA TO CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK
From the Himalayas to the Jungle
Location: Chitwan National Park
Accommodation: Jungle resort or comfortable jungle hotel
Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner
After breakfast, we leave Pokhara and travel towards Chitwan National Park.
The journey takes us from the Himalayan foothills towards the warmer lowlands of southern Nepal.
Upon arrival, we check into our jungle accommodation and enjoy time to relax.
Evening cultural experience
In the evening, we enjoy a traditional Tharu cultural performance, featuring local music and dance.
The Tharu people have a rich cultural heritage, and this experience offers an introduction to the traditions of the Terai region.
We enjoy dinner at the accommodation before spending the night in the peaceful jungle surroundings.

Day 9 – CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK JEEP SAFARI
Wildlife Adventure in Nepal’s Jungle
Location: Chitwan National Park
Accommodation: Jungle resort or hotel
Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner
Today, we explore Chitwan National Park on a guided jeep safari.
Chitwan is known for its rich biodiversity and protected wildlife habitats.
During the safari, we explore forest areas and grasslands in search of wildlife.
Depending on seasonal conditions, park regulations and luck, we may have opportunities to observe:
- One-horned rhinoceros.
- Spotted deer.
- Wild boar.
- Monkeys.
- A variety of bird species.
- Other wildlife native to the region.
Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed, but the safari provides an opportunity to experience Nepal’s natural environment.
After the safari, we return to our accommodation for relaxation and dinner.
Overnight: Chitwan National Park.
Important: Safari activities will follow current national park regulations. Wildlife observation takes place at a safe distance, and activities are subject to local conditions.
Day 10 – CHITWAN TO KATHMANDU
Travel to the Ayurvedic Wellness Retreat
Location: Nagarjun Hills, Kathmandu Valley
Accommodation: Ayurvedic retreat centre
Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner
After breakfast, we begin our journey from Chitwan towards Kathmandu.
The journey takes us through Nepal’s changing landscapes, with views of hills, rivers and rural communities.
Upon arrival in the Kathmandu Valley, we transfer to our Ayurvedic wellness retreat located in the Nagarjun Hills area outside Kathmandu.
The retreat offers a peaceful environment away from the busier parts of the city.
After checking in, participants will be introduced to the retreat facilities and the programme for the coming week.
