Climb Mt Kilimanjaro with Namaste Nomad, fix departure.
The Machame route, also known as the “Whisky Route,” is one of the best options for climbing Kilimanjaro due to its optimal acclimatization process. This route allows climbers to “walk high and sleep low,” leading to one of the highest summit success rates among all the routes to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro.
The Machame route, also known as the “Whisky Route,” is one of the best ways to climb Kilimanjaro due to its optimal acclimatization, allowing climbers to “walk high and sleep low.” As a result, it boasts one of the highest summit success rates of all the routes to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro.
This 7-day itinerary offers an excellent acclimatization program, including two shorter trekking days before the summit ascent to optimize your climb. Throughout the trek, we will traverse stunning terrain and climb through five different climatic zones. Key features of this program include:
- “Walk high and sleep low” for better acclimatization.
- Different routes for ascent and descent.
- Fully catered camping.
Due to its high success rate, the Machame route can be busy, but we’ll start early to avoid the crowds. I ensure that my porter team arrives at the designated campsites early so that your tent will be set up and ready for your arrival, complete with a nice hot drink prepared by our team cook.
Please get in touch with me to discuss your wishes for your Kilimanjaro adventure. I will be happy to guide you to the summit of the highest mountain in Africa! Additionally, we can combine this program with other great adventures, including safaris, beach stays, and more.
