Just come back from Bhutan and India, had the most amazing time. Mohan looked after us well and always made our travels easy, taking care of everyones needs. I experienced some amazing sights which I do not think I would have on any average tour, we really did see the real India. I am now planning my next trip. Can not recommend them enough.

This was the second trip I booked with Namaste Nomad. The first was hiking to Everest Base Camp which was a phenomenal trip! I placed a deposit on Bhutan before I left Nepal due to the shear genuineness of Mohan. He is very thorough in ensuring a safe and successful trip. In Bhutan he was open to group needs and used this information to organize alternative to the original plans. The group I was with had great communication between so that we could make choices that benefitted all of us. If you are thinking of traveling abroad and you love realism in your travels this is the company to book with. You will get the chance to see everyday life in your travels vs sitting on a tour bus skipping the realities of life outside.

I travelled with a group from Ireland to Nepal where we started our joureny to Everest Basecamp. This trek was very special to me as I was doing it for charity in memory of my late brother who was a keen hillwalker. Our group was made up of 9 people from Ireland, Scotland and USA. Such a fantastic group it turned out to be. We all supported each other and made new friends, having alot of fun along the way. Oh From start to finish Mohan our leader, did everything in his power to ensure that our trek was 100% successful. The trip was very challenging but very rewarding. He supported us all even when we were struggling and was there at our beck and call at all times. I would like to give a special mention to the 3 sherpas who accompanied us during our trek, Tshering, Pimba and Paldene. Such fantastic support to all of us and true gentlemen. I would highly recommend this group for anybody contemplating a similar experience.

Whether you’re a seasoned traveller or just first time adventurer you'll notice when you search on line for somewhere to visit that there are plenty of web sites and travel companies that seem to offer very similar packages, similar routes, similar landscapes all promising the same experience. This is my second time to Himalayas, first time to Everest base camp (with a different Irish Company). I recently travelled to Island Peak with Mohan and Namaste Nomad team. No matter how much research you do regarding a trek the experience will be a unique and personal journey for you, there are a lot of variables to consider. I enjoyed my first experience, however when I compare both treks covering similar routes albeit different destinations I cannot stress how impressed I am with the leadership, professionalism, sincerity, and uniqueness that is offered by Namaste Nomad. From the outset there is trust, honesty, and a deep motivation by Mohan and his team to understand and satisfy your reason for joining an adventure with them. Whether you travel alone (like me), as a couple, or a group of friends you will soon feel part of a wonderful group with the necessary time to oneself and others yet the room to feel like you’re on holiday although you have a mission. They offer great advice from well seasoned experienced staff, your safety and well being are always monitored and cared for, food and accommodation is lovely and varied. The people you meet, the guides and helpers, and the places you visit and stay along the way are easily passed by other tour companies. With our 2018 trek to Island Peak plans had to change due to weather conditions and our itinerary was altered and managed seamlessly by Mohan and his team with coordination with Kathmandu. This unplanned adjustment offered a window to a successful summit for the majority of our party, although we met groups who failed either side of our new summit day including a group of 19 who were left so disappointed. I am a seasoned hiker but this was my first time using ropes and having to complete some technical mountaineering, the training and equipment was provided by Mohan and his team including Dawa J Sherpa (5 time Everest summiteer) all helping to micro manage each group member on the day. The uniqueness offered by Namaste Nomad is that they genuinely care that you get the most from the adventure you choose. Other companies testify to the same but sometimes really it is left up to you to make the most of what they offer, they're running a business however to Mohan and Namaste Nomad it is more than just a business, one experience and you'll understand what I mean. They have set a real benchmark for me.

Travelled to the north of Spain for a week with Mohan from Namaste Nomad - travelled with 2 friends - 12 in total in the group - 12 had such a laugh. Great bunch of people of all age groups. The holiday was fool proof with all activities and meals organised. We age local cuisine with the locals. Truly an amazing holiday and I would highly recommend it. I thought the holiday was so well organised I have decided to travel to Nepal with this company in 2018. Get booking - you wont regret it.

I have just returned from the most remarkable trip of a lifetime to Everest Basecamp. I don’t usually write reviews however on this occasion I feel the need to share my experiences which I hope will inspire others to travel and to book a trip with Namaste Nomad. I booked this trip in Jan 18 after meeting with Mohan. After my initial meeting I had no doubts in travelling with Mohan and his team. Mohan is an exceptional person who is so passionate about his business and works so hard to ensure everyone meets their goal and has an amazing trip. Everest Basecamp was everything I imagined and much more. The views are breathtaking and the sense of achievement on arriving at Basecamp is so hard to put into words. The trip is a life changing experience as you learn so much about yourself and indeed about others. It really was a journey from the time of booking until we returned home from the Himalayas. I found it very challenging physically, mentally and emotionally but that’s what made it so very special. Throughout the trek Mohan was so attentive to our every need, every decision he made was the right one and his motivation and encouragement ensured we all made it successfully to Basecamp. Mohan’s knowledge of Nepal and the Himalayas is exceptional. Everything from planning the food to gauging the weather to recognising signs when some of us weren’t too well was spot on If you are considering a trek then I can honestly say that you will not get anyone better to travel with than Namaste Nomad. The team of Sherpas and Porters are incredible and the bond made with the Sherpas is one I will never forget, it really was incredible. As for value for money you will not get a more competitive price as I priced several others which were significantly more costly than Namaste Nomad Overall if you want a challenging and life changing experience then I encourage you to make that adventure with Namaste Nomad and I guarantee you will not regret it Thanks to Mohan and his team for everything, I will never forget it. Xx

I went to India and Ladakh with Namaste Nomad two years ago. I absolutely loved it, particularly the Himalayas. I therefore challenged myself to trek to Everest Base Camp with them. I did this last year and I can truthfully say that it was one of the most wonderful things I have ever done in my life. I am in my sixties, but the care and attention given me made everything not only manageable but immensely enjoyable. I've now signed up to climb Island Peak with Mohan and the team - my first serious Himalayan mountain. It's a prospect that fills me with a mixture of great excitement and a healthy dose of fear - but I know that I am in the safest of hands. Mohan and the team are watching you every step of the way. Safety is their number one priority, but they manage to make every trek great fun too. Bring it on!
