About the tour

Annapurna Circuit is the 2nd most famous trek in the Himalayas, a very popular and really authentic trek. Namaste Nomad is the only travel company from Ireland that runs a regular departure group trek to Annapurna circuit trek. We also organise this trek for solo and couples, any time of the year..

Nepal’s most popular trekking region the Annapurna region is bursting with life, colours, and flavours to delight the senses. The white peak of Machapuchare, the red, yellow, and blue prayer flags, and the green terraced fields make this more than just an exceptional trekking region. Lower in altitude than the Everest region and with easier access that is not as weather dependant the Annapurna region is ideal for shorter treks.

This trekking trail in Nepal stretches almost 100 miles – beginning from the tropical zone to elevated highland Thorung La Pass, Annapurna Circuit Trek included widely diverse cultural and natural aspects. The world’s deepest gorge, The Kali Gandaki gorge, has an elevation of 4,660m and is flanked by two mountains both above 8,000m, namely Dhaulagiri (8,167m) and Annapurna I (8,091m). The trek will take you through Throng La pass which rises up to an altitude of 5,416m. During the Annapurna Circuit trek, you walk through a blend of exquisite culture, typical Nepalese village lifestyle, unbelievably challenging yet mesmerizingly beautiful landscape, and above all pristine Himalayas. You will encounter varied cultural experiences of both Hindu and Buddhist lifestyles which will be manifested in numerous temples and monasteries that you bump into on the way.

Let us join our fixed departure for spring 2023.

Let’s experience the Himalayas together.

forests and be rewarded with stunning views of the Annapurna range atop. Lunch at Thanchowk with a
backdrop of Mt. Manaslu. After lunch, we walk towards Kodo which means ‘millet’ and then to Kyupar (2600 m). A police check post guards access to Nar Phu Khola Valley which leads to Tibet. Show our permits again and proceed to Chame (2713 m) – the District Headquarters of Manang.
